The promotion of the Project and its’ results was conducted through an online workshop on 09/11/2024
and face-to-face on 18/11/2024 and on 17/12/2024, in Greece and Italy.
The agenda distributed to participants before the beginning of the events covered all projects’ results,
the objectives, and time for discussions.
In the events were invited career counsellors, freelancers or working as employees in public or private
organisations, psycholgists, school counsellors and representatives from NGOs dealing with career guidance.
The number of participants in the final event- workshop was 11 online and 37 face-to-face. Profile of the
participants: Career counselors, Psychologists, Sociologist, Teachers, Employers, Beneficiaries of national
social and work inclusion programs.
During the workshop the thematic areas that were presented were the following:
Artificial Intelligence and Gamification in Vocational Training Guidance Project Overview:
The workshop began with an overview of the Intellegize project, emphasizing its goal to integrate artificial
intelligence (AI) and gamification into vocational training guidance. There were highlighted the project's
objectives, the targeted beneficiaries, the results and the innovative aspects of AI tools in enhancing
learning and counseling experiences
Game presentation: The gamification element was showcased through a simulation game, focusing on practical skill-building for vocational training scenarios. Attendees learned about the game’s mechanics, and the SDGs assessment.
Participants’ experience on the system: participants were invited to interact with the chatbot and game, sharing feedback about usability, relevance, and user-friendliness. This hands-on session highlighted practical insights into the system’s functionality.
Counsellor’s platform & Guide presentation: The session introduced the platform for vocational counselors, designed to complement the chatbot and game. The guide provided a step-by-step approach for counselors to integrate these tools into their practices, including user management, analytics, and resource deployment.
Q&As: In this session, participants were invited to give feedback on all the project’s outputs, make recommendations for improvement and ask any questions that had arisen to them during the presentation. Overall, the satisfaction of users and counsellors on the project’s outcomes seem to be high and all professionals expressed their willingness to incorporate them in their daily working practices.
EVALUATION RESULTS According to the feedback obtained by the participants, all of them were satisfied with the presented materials. For them the content of the workshop was clear, and the results presented will provide valuable assistance in their daily practice with their clients in career guidance.
Useful comments and suggestions: Even though, the overall feedback on the event and the presented material was highly positive,
there were some suggestions for further improvements, as presented below:
Include a broader range of vocational and soft skills to address the diverse needs of learners across industries.
Integrate a feature that matches users’ acquired skills with current job openings or relevant career paths in the labor market.
Offer personalized recommendations based on local and global employment trends.
Add a dedicated session within the chatbot or game to inform users about emerging labor market trends.
Highlight sectors with growing demand and provide actionable advice on aligning skills with future opportunities.
