The Kick-Off Meeting of our new Erasmus+ Intelligize project "Artificial Intelligence and Gamification in Guidance for Vocational Training" was held online on May 24, 2023. During this Meeting, the coordinator had the opportunity to describe the project to the other partners and to share with them the timeline, but also the steps to be followed to implement all the project activities and the strategies to be adopted in the administrative and dissemination areas. Specifically, this was the meeting to present the project, implement the Project Management system, the Monitoring activities, the Communication Plan, and implement the activities. During the meeting, the Activity Team was formed, defined the modalities of development of Activity 3 Mapping Orientation and Communication process. Activities were also initiated, with formation of the management committee, definition of quality assurance and communication mechanisms, sharing of website and logo features, and other organizational issues. The partners on this occasion had the opportunity to get to know each other better by presenting their organization and industry experience.
The Second project meeting was held online on December 18, 2023. During this meeting, the results of the concluded First project activity, A3. Mapping Orientation Process, and the implementation steps, procedures to be adopted, deadlines and responsible persons for subsequent activities were defined, and in particular for Activity A4 Artificial Intelligence Module Development and Gamification Scenarios. In addition, partners discussed the state of the art of communication and dissemination activities and also updated each other on developments related to Project Management and Quality Management/Monitoring activities.
On 8 and 9 October 2024, the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting took place in Trapani, at the headquarters of the Partner iInformatica S.r.l. During these two days in Sicily, we defined the last steps that will lead to the conclusion of the project, scheduled for next November. After having innovated our career counselling processes through the creation and testing of a chatbot and a game that, thanks to Artificial Intelligence, allow us to support the career guidance practitioners during the users profiling phase, we are now ready for the elaboration of the Interactive Guide that will facilitate the use of the created products by both guidance counselors and users.
The Fourth Project Meeting was held online on November 26th 2024. During this meeting the state of the art of all project activities was reviewed. The Chatbot and the Game, created to support the career guidance practitioners in the user profiling phase thanks to Artificial Intelligence, are now complete and the feedbacks collected during the testing phase are very good, so we are finishing the Interactive User Guide and we will soon be able to share these tools with our network through the organization of local dissemination events.
